Greenwich Millennium Village shortlisted for Best Large Development

We are pleased to announce Greenwich Millennium Village has been shortlisted for Best Large Development at the 2021 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards.

The prestigious awards, run by First Time Buyer Magazine, are now in their 12th year, recognising housebuilders and housing associations for their dedication to helping aspirational buyers on to the housing ladder. A panel of expert judges have chosen the shortlist, now it’s over to you to vote!

Greenwich Millennium Village has been recognised as a development that uses the best design and quality to create an affordable, desirable and inspirational environment, creating additional facilities to benefit both the local community and surrounding neighbourhoods.  Judges reviewed how the scheme design stands out and appeals to the local market and benefits the local community.

Shortlisted for Best Large Development, Greenwich Millennium Village is a beacon for how a large, modern, urban development can move beyond the numbers to create places people love. Characterised by its green surroundings and its position beside the River Thames, the development also includes a 4-acre Ecology Park and a large open park, known as Southern Park and once complete, will create over 2800 new homes, set within distinct neighbourhoods and designed with landscaped courtyards linked by tree-lined avenues for an all-round village feel.

Greenwich Millennium Village’s tightly knit community and village lifestyle has always been one of the development’s unique strengths, setting it apart from other large developments.
