Consultation

Welcome

Welcome to Greenwich Millennium Village Limited’s (GMVL) consultation webpage regarding the emerging proposals for Plots 501, 502 and 503 of Parcel 5 (otherwise known as ‘the 500s’) at the Greenwich Millennium Village (GMV).

As well as this online comments form, feedback forms will be available at the in-person events, and you can also email your views to us directly, at The 500s@CavendishConsulting.com. You can also call the project team on 020 3398 1590

A new round of public consultation

Back in April, we welcomed local residents to two public exhibitions showcasing GMVL’s initial plans for Parcel 5. Now, having reviewed community feedback and continued to engage with the Royal Borough of Greenwich and the Greater London Authority, we are now pleased to invite you to new public exhibition on our revised plans.

Both events take place at the GMV Community Centre, located at 2 Oswald Gardens, London SE10 0SH, and are on Monday 14th July from 3pm to 8pm, and on Wednesday 16th July from 10am. Both events take place at the Meridian Room.

Members of GMVL and the wider project team will be at both events to answer any queries or questions you may have, and feedback forms will be able across both sessions so that we can collect community comments.

Online consultation

From the afternoon of Monday 14th July this webpage will be updated to include a link to the consultation materials we will share with the public at our events, and an online feedback form will also be available from this date.

Our consultation will run for 21 days from 14th July, closing on Monday 4th August 2025.

As well as this online comments form, feedback forms will be available at the in-person events, and you can also email your views to us directly, at The 500s@CavendishConsulting.com. You can also call the project team on 020 3398 1590

The background to ‘the 500s’

As the delivery of Parcels 3 and 4 progressed in recent years, GMVL secured a change to its planning permission in November 2019 which redistributed the homes planned for the 500s across these earlier phases. Correspondingly, the remaining commercial floorspace from these earlier phases were consolidated the 500s. In 2021, Reserved Matters Approval was obtained for a 5-storey commercial (office) building at part of the 500s facing onto Peartree Way.

However, the pandemic delivered fundamental and lasting change to the way we live our lives but also to how businesses operate. This has meant that there is no longer demand for a large office building and in recent months we have been working with the Council’s Planning Department and our wider project team on potential ways to optimise this site.
