Greenwich Millennium Village has broken ground on the final phases of the ‘Parkside Collection’

Greenwich Millennium Village, a joint venture between Countryside and Taylor Wimpey and in association with the Mayor of London, has once again broken ground with work commencing on the final two phases of the ‘Parkside Collection’, phases 202 and 203.

Providing another opportunity to purchase at this iconic address, once complete, these phases will deliver over 200 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, alongside additional exclusive resident amenities including a day porter, residents’ lounge, co-working space, podium garden and roof terraces.

Creating new spaces for the community, these buildings will also bring a new community centre, nursery and a café, which will galvanise social activity as well as provide secluded pockets to relax and unwind.

The two new phases will deliver a mixture of apartments and maisonettes, all benefitting from high-specification interiors and private balconies or terraces. Boasting open-plan living areas, integrated appliances, and far-reaching views over the adjacent parkland and city skyline, the apartments have been thoughtfully designed with modern living in mind.

Offering the best of both worlds and a perfect example of urban village life, Greenwich Millennium Village is one of the best-connected developments in London whilst seeming miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Travelling into the city could not be easier with Canary Wharf from North Greenwich train station taking only two minutes, and with Stratford and London Bridge only 10 minutes away.

Alongside the new phases and neighbouring the park, an ‘eco-swale’ will be delivered and harbour a selection of diverse planting including a wildflower meadow, indigenous woodland and wetland.

Residents can also enjoy the expanse of surrounding parkland as well as the unique on-site Ecology Park which is home to a diverse range of wildlife. A wealth of everyday amenities can be found across the Village Squares offering a convenience store, dry cleaners, hairdressing salon, beauty spa and café all located at the heart of this well-established community.

Now ground has been broken, the first completion of homes within these brand-new phases is anticipated for Summer 2023.

Chris Bladon, Managing Director, Eastern Home Counties, Countryside says:

“We’re very excited to be starting work on the final two phases of the ‘Parkside Collection’. As well as providing a range of private and affordable new homes, these phases will also include a selection of fantastic amenities - another example of our continued commitment to creating places people love.”

Chris Genner, Project Director for Greenwich Millennium Village, says:

“We are delighted to begin construction on the next phases of homes at Greenwich Millennium Village. These latest phases will bring additional facilities to the development for residents to enjoy, as well as offering another opportunity to buy at this popular address.”

A selection of one, two and three bedroom apartments are available to buy at Greenwich Millennium Village from £449,995 to £739,995, many available with Help to buy.
